A monopoly of almost 4 hectares, this parcel is located on the southern edge of Pommard, in the direction of Volnay. Its special terroir belies the all-too-common notion that Pommard is synonymous with a certain ‘masculinity’.

A deep bouquet combining red and black fruit aromas (cherry, blackcurrant, fig), floral notes (violet, rose, peony) and delicate hints of wood and spice that evolve over time towards more animal and undergrowth notes.

Full and round on the palate, underpinned by ripe tannins. A powerful yet elegant wine, almost feminine in its proximity to Volnay.

Roast meats or meats in sauce (beef duck pork game). Medium to full-bodied cheeses.
