Clos D'Ora Minervois-La-Livinière

Clos d’Ora is the "1st Grand Cru of Languedoc" (Bettane+Desseauve). It is the achievement of a project  started in 1997 by Gérard Bertrand to create the best wine in the region, using the 4 typical grapes of South of France. The vineyard of 9 hectares, enclosed by dry stone walls, is located at La Livinière in the Minervois (220 meters of altitude), a cru and an exceptional terroir to produce intense and complex red wines. At Clos d’Ora, we opted for biodynamic farming methods and we only use the horse and mule to work in the vineyard fostering the connection between mineral and vegetable, animal and human. Sometimes, the wine can bear a message, the one for Clos d'Ora is : Peace, Love and Harmony
