Essentiel's four years of aging have bestowed upon it an unfussy charm. This is a bright, invigorating wine with well-defined fruit and an aromatic purity showing notes of citrus and white fruits, crisp succulent grapes, fresh apple and fresh almond. Intense and lasting notes of fruitcake follow, along with nuttiness, and an exquisite sensation of sweetness, hinting, at the long period of repose that this wine has enjoyed.

TASTING NOTESPiper-Heidsieck Essentiel boasts a precise, accomplished and balanced profile. The nose delivers initial notes of plum, brioche, grapefruit and candied quince, developing towards aromas of acacia honey and toasted nuts.
