Château Segur Cabanac Saint Estèphe

Most of the Château Ségur de Cabanac is located in the western area of Saint-Estèphe, along the banks of the Gironde. It should be remembered that it is the estuary that left its gravel and alluvial deposits which are typical of the terroir.Jean-François Delon, the owner, tries and helps his vine to give its best. Each parcel and each vine has its own characteristics.The most amazing thing in the whole process is the blending of all these parcels. It’s magic! And it is the blend which gives his wine its complexity. Saint-Estèphe wines are very powerful, very virile, very rich and full-bodied. Ségur de Cabanac has all these characteristics and with age these wines become rounded and increasingly elegant.
